Hello! I am an Oncology Medical & Scientific Writer with a Ph.D. in Molecular Cancer Biology. My education includes a B.A. from Cornell University, a graduate degree from Duke University, and postdoctoral training in the Oncology Research Unit at Pfizer, Inc. I have 17 years of oncology research experience in both academic and industry settings, including Harvard and Cornell Universities, the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, AVEO Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer Oncology, and several years of medical writing and editing experience as both a staff and freelance writer.

My bench research history involved studying the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and developing novel approaches to therapy across a range of tumor types, including pediatric and adult brain tumors, lymphomas, melanoma, and colon, breast, and lung cancers. I am experienced in small molecule, antibody, and immunotherapeutic approaches.

As an oncology medical writer and editor, I now enjoy working with continuing medical education companies, medical communications agencies, academic investigators, and others to develop manuscripts, grants, needs assessments, abstracts, posters, case studies, and more. I am committed to using clear communication to advance cancer treatment, and I enjoy using my writing skills to effectively convey complex scientific, medical, and health information to physician, scientist, and patient audiences.
